This website is dedicated to information about Home Modifications for Pennsylvania residents who are elderly, disabled, or both. Our primary purpose is to help you find sources of funding in Pennsylvania that may be able to help you or your client pay for home modifications.   For very large projects, you may need to combine several funding sources.

This site will help you learn more about various home modifications, to read home modification success stories, to determine the different ways of financing home modifications, to learn about State and Federal public funding programs along with other programs and your eligibility for public funding.  Home Modifications are adaptations to the living environment intended to increase ease of use, safety, security and independence.

This website is a joint effort of JEVS – Supports for Independence and the Governor’s Office of Health Care Reform. As you use the site, you will note that there are many government agencies, social services agencies and some foundations that help people who need assistance with meeting their needs for home modifications.  These modifications enable people to maintain or regain their independence.
